Senior Portrait, Alex – Suttons Bay, Michigan

Earlier last week I met up with Alex and his mom for his Senior Portrait shoot.  We had a fun time walking around Suttons Bay and taking in the fall colors.  It was a perfect day for a session, and Suttons Bay offered some great backdrops.  Good luck, Alex, with the rest of your senior year.  I look forward to seeing what bright things the future has in store for you!

Sports, Suttons Bay Homecoming – Suttons Bay, Michigan

Last Friday nigth was Suttons Bay’s Homecoming.  My brother is a football player, and was also a member of the Homecoming Court.  So we came out for the parade and the game.  I always like to come out for events like this because it gives you a chance to see people you haven’t seen in a long time; especially the students, who we in  Elementary School when I was in High School, and they are all growing up an graduating.  Very cool.

Senior Portrait, Susan – Suttons Bay Michigan

I’ve been a little behind on my posting of some things, so I’m going to try to play a little catch up and post some things from over the summer and bring things up to current as we enter into the fall and begin to have a few more Senior Portrait sessions to add to the blog.  So, this was I session I did with Susan in June.  She had just returned back home to Suttons Bay after finishing up her Bachelor’s Degree.  Check em out…

Sports, Suttons Bay Baseball – Glen Lake, Michigan

Last night was Suttons Bay and Glen Lake squared off in the District Finals Game.  Glen Lake jumped out to an early lead, and was able to maintain that lead throughout, coming out with a victory, and moving on to the regionals this Saturday in Frankfort.  It marked t he end of a great season for the Norsemen.  Its always a bummer to get knocked out, especially when your individual hopes are so high.  Sam and Randy will be greatly missed on both the offensive and defensive sides, but with all but those 2 players returning, the Norsemen will be determined to have another great season, and make a deep run next year.  Great season fellas!  Now, on to Summer!

Sports, Suttons Bay Baseball – Suttons Bay, Michigan

Last week, on the 29th.  The Forest Area Varsity Baseball team came to Suttons Bay to take on the Norsemen to close out the regular season games for the Norsemen.  After this game, it was time to prepare for districts.  Suttons Bay came out victorious in both matches, and looked good heading into districts.  I missed the fist round of districts this past Saturday due t oa wedding that I was attending, but I am looking forward to watching tomorrow as the Norsemen battle either the Traverse City Christian Sabres, or the Glen Lake Lakers in tomorrow’s district championship game.
